Netbooks continue to grow in popularity and new machines seem to be launched almost daily.    First of all the Asus Eee PC S101 looks like a real contender for the title "Netbook King".  It moves away from the netbooks "low cost device" tag but it is a fantastic portable.

The Netbook is the latest incarnation in the continuing miniaturization of the laptop. Dell have finally launched their much anticipated netbook finally giving them a presence in the flourishing netbook market.  It's a stylish machine and UK readers can pick one up for free from Vodafone with an appropriate contract.

The Inspiron Mini 9 is available in two colors - Obsidian Black or Alpine White.   It is configured with Windows XP Home with an alternative Ubuntu OS coming soon.
