Advent 4211

The Advent 4211 is a rebranded version of the MSI Wind but there is no need to let that distract us.  It is equipped with the Intel 1.6ghz atom as most netbooks currently are.  It features a 120gb hard drive and 1gb of RAM.  It weighs in at a highly respectable 1.1kg and is fitted with a 10.2 inch TFT screen running at a resolution 1024x600 which is what we recommend for Netbooks if you intend to browse the web a lot.

Advent 4211 Positives

We liked:

• Very good build quality.
• Superb screen.
• Very cool chasis making it very comfortable for positioning on your lap.

Advent 4211 Negatives

We'd like to see improved:

• Battery life is 167 mins which is pretty good but hardly cutting edge.
• Touchpad and mouse button are not that user friendly.

Advent 4211 Conclusion

It may be a rebadged MSI Wind but it does carry a lower price tag.  If you're in the market for a Netbook computer you could do a lot worse than this.  One of the best Netbooks to date.
