Ultraportables

A ultraportable also known as an subnotebook is a lightweight laptop. Subnotebooks are smaller than traditional laptops and generally, although not always, fitted with smaller screens.

The major advantage of a subnotebook is the smaller size and lighter weight,although this is being challenged at both ends of the scale. Wit the Macbook Air and the new smaller still Netbooks of which the ASUS Eee which launched in 2007 was the first.
